About our school

Albury North Public School aims to foster the all-round development of our children by providing the environment, stimulus and organisation that caters for individual needs, interests and talents.

Located in the central-north of Albury, we enjoy close and supportive links with our families and the wider community. We are an active and proud member of the Northern Spirit Learning community made up of neighboring schools, our local high school James Fallon and Charles Sturt University. As a Priority School, our dedicated staff provides learning programs that are innovative, varied and challenging.

Our school supports gifted and talented students from Kindergarten to Year 6 with enrichment groups in literacy and numeracy. The school also supports children with identified learning needs through Reading Recovery, Count Me In Too and significant extra teacher in-class support.

The school encourages whole-school participation in Creative and Performing Arts, Technology and Sporting activities.

Effective student welfare programs ensure the promotion of respect, tolerance and understanding of others as we encourage and celebrate individuality and achievement.
